Food Production Operative

Kinetic recruitment services are working in partnership with one of our clients to recruit full-time food production workers for their site based in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate with the earning potential being high!
This position is a short term position with potential of a long term position.
Food production and manufacturing experience is a must!
This role is a rotation of 2 weeks nights and 2 weeks days, all candidates MUST be able to work both days and nights.
Hours of work
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday – 48 hours
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday – 36 hours
Payrate for the first 12 consecutive weeks
* Standard hours £12.58 per hour
* Overtime Monday to Saturday £18.88 per hour
* Overtime Sundays and bank holidays £25.17 per hour
Payrate after completing 12 consecutive weeks
* Standard hours £14.91 per hour
* Overtime Monday to Saturday £22.38 per hour
* Overtime Sundays and bank holidays £29.85 per hour
The role
* Packing produce.
* Shrink wrapping produce into boxes.
* Operating high-speed production lines.
* Maximising output and yields.
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are always adhered to.
* Maintaining product quality standards and helping them achieve their KPI’s.

Benefits

Office Administration Assistant

The Office Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective running of the main office as well as providing administrative support to the Finance and Sales Teams. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities working across numerous departments within the business.
Hours of work
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)
Friday 8:30am – 4:15pm (45 minute lunch break)
Office based role.
The role
Broad responsibilities supporting the office with administrative tasks, including:
- Responsible for company correspondence, including phone calls, letters, and packages (both outbound and inbound).
- Process purchase invoices for approval on invoice approval system (Paperless).
- Support Credit Control & Purchase Ledger with data entry.
- Holiday cover for Sales Order Processing and Accounts Sales & Purchase Ledger.
- Management of the reception area, including parcel reception and welcoming visitors on site.
- Maintaining the general enquiries email inbox ensuring all queries go to the relevant department.
- Sample cupboard replenishment and management of office supplies inventory.
- Completion of customer new line forms and supporting documents.
- Control of the central holiday log and weekly availability.
- Assist with raising any general office IT issues with 3rd Party IT support.
- Responsible for the telephone list making sure it is kept up to date with new starters or phone changes.
- General filing and archiving of documents as and when required.
- Arranging lunches and equipment for visitors and updating visitors welcome board.
- Booking hotels when necessary.
- Management of Boardroom bookings.
What we are looking for
- Friendly and approachable with all stakeholders, including visitors.
- Ability to communicate effectively and inclusively, both verbally and in writing.
- Confident in dealing with telephone calls and visitors.
- Strong organisational skills, with effective time management.
- Experience in an office administrator role preferable but not essential.
- Ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage – training can be given.
